Privacy Policy

This policy explains how FAST Scorebooks ("FAST," "we," "us") handles information when you use fastscoretracking.com and the FAST apps on it, including FAST Volleyball, FAST Basketball, FAST Basketball+Stats and FAST Baseball (together, the "apps").

What we collect

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are stored by our sign-in provider in scrambled (hashed) form; we can't see them. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We don't get your Google password.
• What you enter in the apps. Games and matches, scores and play-by-play, team names, rosters (player names and numbers), schedules, logos and colors, and app settings. This is saved to your account so it can sync to your other devices.
• Free-trial and subscription records. How many games you've started in each app and which apps you have paid access to.
• Technical information. Like nearly all websites, our hosting and database providers automatically keep basic logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) to run and secure the service.

We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. The apps store a copy of your data on your device (in the browser's storage) so they work without internet.

How we use it

• To sign you in and keep your games, teams and settings in sync across your devices.
• To track free games and paid access for each app.
• To answer you when you contact us, and to send account emails such as email confirmation and password resets.
• To keep the service secure and working, and to fix problems.

We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run the apps for us, and only as needed to do that:

• Supabase: accounts, sign-in and the database that stores your synced data.
• Netlify: hosts the website and apps.
• Google: if you choose "Continue with Google," and for the web fonts the pages use.
• Payment processor: if you pay online in the future, the payment company handles your card details. We never see or store card numbers.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of users or others, or as part of a sale or transfer of FAST (with this policy still applying).

Players, students and minors

FAST accounts are meant for adults: coaches, scorekeepers, athletic staff and parents. Children under 13 should not create an account.

Coaches and scorers may enter the names and numbers of players, many of whom are students. That information is used only to keep the scorebook and stats for the account that entered it, and it is never sold or shared for marketing. If you enter players' information, please follow your school's or organization's rules for doing so. A parent, guardian or player can ask us to remove a player's information by emailing us at the address below.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and synced data while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and its synced data, generally within 30 days, except for anything we're required to keep by law. Data saved on your own devices stays there until you sign out, clear the app's data or remove the app.

Your choices

• See or export your data: each app has a Backup option that saves your games and teams to a file.
• Correct it: edit games, teams and rosters in the apps at any time.
• Delete it: delete games in the apps, or email us to delete your whole account.

Security

Information is sent over encrypted (https) connections, and each account can reach only its own data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and don't share your account.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll let account holders know.
